Full update configuration

At the configuration stage, you can choose the default attributes that will be automatically selected when running the full update (you can change them before starting it) and manage the rules for adding and modifying products in your store.

Managing rules for adding and modifying

Update mode - allows you to decide what function a full update should perform. Depending on the selected settings, it can:

  • Update the existing products and add new ones

  • Only update existing products

  • Only add new products

Warning!

Selecting the "Update only existing ones" option will completely disable the integrator from adding products to the store! Full update is the only tool authorized to do it.

Warning!

Selecting the "Add new only" option will always add products with all information from the warehouse that are available for these products (taking into account the limitations specified in mapping) - selecting update attributes only applies to products already in the store!

Minimum stock level - allows you to specify the minimum stock level after which the product will be marked as "inactive" - ​​leave the field blank not to modify the information provided by the warehouse.

Hint:

Selecting the "Activity" attribute for a full update will change the status of products with a stock level not higher than the "Minimum stock level" to "Sold out". The integrator does not have the permission to remove products from the store.

Warning!

The minimum stock level applies to the sum of stock levels of all variants of a given product. If you want to set a minimum stock for individual variants, please contact us!

Add only active products to the store - it will not add products that have been marked as "inactive" - ​​that is, have been marked by the wholesaler as temporarily unavailable, have completely disappeared from the warehouse's product list or have not met the minimum stock condition.

New products invisible to customers - hides newly added products from your store's customers.

Warning!

Make sure your store platform allows you to add products invisible to your customers!

Size of the product package - the number of products that the integrator sends to your store during a single inquiry. Increasing this number may increase the speed of adding / updating products, but increases the risk of errors as well. Reducing this number may increase the update time, but has a positive impact on stability.

Warning!

We strongly do not recommend editing this field! Some platforms limit the number of available queries for external applications. Making changes to the package size may prevent the integrator from working properly.

The scope of the update

Update scope - contains attributes that will be selected by default when running the full update, applies only to products already present in the store. Regardless of the fields you check, only the information provided by the wholesaler will be updated.

Warning!

The full update makes changes to all products in the selected scope that are enabled in the product manager and not excluded in the mapping settings.

When running a full update, make sure you only update the attributes you choose in the correct products. Manually introduced changes (such as a hand-made product description) may not be avaliable to restore after they had been overwritten by a full update!
