5. Managing variants and features

If the selected warehouse for individual products contains information about their variants (e.g. size, color), you should prepare the store to handle. Depending on the selected e-commerce platform, skipping this step may result in blocking the addition of the product or its incomplete addition.

The options panel was split into two parts. In the upper part, you should associate the variants in the warehouse (e.g. "color") with their counterparts in the store, while in the lower part you can assign their individual values (e.g. "red") on the same principle - this allows you to organize them in a situation where warehouse provides variants with similar characteristics (e.g. "green", "greenish", "light green", "dark green" can be assigned to the "green" color created in the store).

The feature configuration is identical to the variant configuration. Here, too, features are assigned first (e.g. "material type"), and later their individual values (e.g. "cotton"). Some of the e-commerce platforms allow you to create groups of features (e.g. features for clothes can be separated from features for shoes) - their assignment is possible in the upper part of the panel, provided that the features have also been grouped by the warehouse.
