Category management

Thanks to the Megamo integrator, you can conveniently copy categories from the warehouse to your store or link them with existing ones.

The Megamo integrator provides the necessary tools to organize products from the warehouse in your store. One of the key tools of this type is category management - thanks to it you can decide how the categories from the warehouse should be interpreted when adding products to your store.

Wholesaler categories can be:

• copied to the store - more information on this subject can be found in the "Copying categories" section

• assigned to selected categories in the store - more information on this topic can be found in the "Category mapping" section

Warning!

Copying or mapping categories does not add products to the store! They can be added with the use of a manually initiated full update or by a suitably set automatic update (more on that in chapters "Automatic update" and "Full update").

Warning!

Some store platforms (such as Shopify) do not support tree-based categories - they do not store information that a given category contains subcategories. This can lead to unusual integrator behavior, such as duplicating categories.
