Run full update

Initiating the full update is possible only manually, using a dedicated panel on the integrator's platform.

Before starting the update, it is possible to select a criterion that will be used to limit the list of updated products. The options available are:

  • Individual products

  • Products by manufacturers

  • Products by category

After selecting one of them, the full update panel will open.

How do I run a full update?

The panel used to launch the full update differs in structure depending on which criterion we select the products to be updated by.

If you selected the "Individual products" option, it consists of 3 parts - two of them are the same as those available in the manager, allowing you to filter products and select them from the list. Between these two there is a third part, containing the scope of the update.

To start the update, filter the products according to the selected criteria, select the range of updated parameters, then select the products to be updated (using the leftmost column) and then confirm the selection with the "Update" button available above the product list.

In the case of the "Products by manufacturers" and "Products by category" options, the panel will be 2-part - the upper part contains the update scope, the lower one contains a list of manufacturers or a category tree, respectively.

To start the update, select the range of updated parameters, select manufacturers or categories to be taken into account in the update, and then confirm the selection with the "Update" button available at the top of the page.

Warning!

The full update makes changes to all products in the selected scope that are enabled in the product manager and not excluded in the mapping settings.

When running a full update, make sure you only update the attributes you choose in the correct products. Manually introduced changes (such as a hand-made product description) may not be avaliable to restore after they had been overwritten by a full update!
